Mine gas
The main mine gas constituent is methane that belongs to the dangerous greenhouse gases. A significant source of mine gas is mines still in operation or areas where coal mining was terminated. However, mine gas cannot be perceived only as a threat, forit can be a significant source of energy owing to its high energy potential. Projects with the TEDOM CHP units utilizing mine gas were realized mainly in the Czech Republic and Poland.
